The Way Way Back
If you're looking for a different kind of movie, "The Way Way Back" might be right up your alley. It's equal parts entertaining and nostalgic and smart. Full of teenage angst and summertime memories, The Way Way Back is a nice mix of parenting issues and features Steve Carell in a role like you've never seen him in before. That is to say he's not very likeable. He's actually kind of a jerk and it's quite a departure for him. But he provides the movie its antagonistic character which sets the events of the movie into motion.
There is some kid actor who does a nice job playing a fourteen year old boy who's bummed out with having to spend the summer with his mother and her boyfriend.
I was beyond pleasantly surprised with The Way Way Back. It actually falls into that category of movie you feel disappointed when you know it's about to end.
Go see it.
The Way Way Back
3.5 out of 5 stars
Popcorn and a 50% lemonade and 50% iced tea concoction I invented about two years ago. It was a large and I finished it as the movie was starting. The movie was so good I didn't dare go get more. When the movie was done I got a refill and then drank it as if I'd been crawling through a desert for three days.

I hate to burst your bubble...but the "Arnie Palmer" has been around for longer than the past 2 years. :) It is a fabulous summertime drink tho!
